Charity Concert “I don’t know for whom, but I know why”: Orchestra SiO and Roberto Fantinel move San Donà di Piave
San Donà di Piave inaugurated the weekend of the 2024 Rosary Fairs with an evening dedicated to solidarity and quality music. On Thursday 3 October, the charity concert “I Don’t Know for Whom, but I Know Why” brought together a large and attentive audience at the Teatro Metropolitano Astra, offering an intense and engaging musical experience. The evening’s proceeds went to support the projects of “In Meta Con-te Giorgio ODV” in collaboration with AIDO Provinciale Venezia (Italian Association for Organ Donation), an organization that promotes the culture of organ donation.
The SiO Orchestra and Maestro Roberto Fantinel for a Special Cause
The stars of the evening were the young musicians of the SiO Orchestra and Maestro Roberto Fantinel. With great versatility, the orchestra played a varied repertoire that ranged from classical music to famous film soundtracks, enchanting the audience with highly engaging performances. Under Maestro Fantinel’s direction, the performances took on an emotional and engaging touch, making the evening a unique opportunity to reflect on the power of giving and sharing.
An awareness event that touches the Heart of the Community
The evening was presented by Cristal Morando, who emphasised the value of an event dedicated not only to music but also to raising awareness about vital issues such as organ donation. Thanks to the support of Venice’s Provincial AIDO and the active participation of the San Donà community, the event enjoyed wide attendance and warmly welcomed by the public, who generously responded to the charitable cause.
